Welcome to Pipeclay Pumphouse!

Pipeclay Pumphouse is a relaxed yet refined shared-plate restaurant set among the Robert Stein Vineyard in Mudgee. Our cuisine is modern and Mediterranean-inspired, with subtle Middle Eastern influence and a strong focus on local produce. Designed for sharing, the menu encourages a relaxed style of dining.

Our Menus

The Robert Stein Vineyard is a family estate with a winegrowing lineage dating back to 1838, and is recognised as one of Mudgee’s highest-rated wineries. It produces award-winning reds, whites, and fortified wines. The cellar door is open to the public daily from 10am to 4:30pm.

Motorbike Museum

A collection curated by motorcycle enthusiast Robert Stein, featuring 17 bikes on display dating from the 1920s to the 1970s. The collection includes Robert’s first motorcycle, a 1927 Douglas, which he rode to work along Parramatta Road in the 1940s and 1950s.
